**Community Building Series Event to Focus on Arts' Economic Impact**

The City of Binghamton will host a Community Building Series event titled "Economic Impact of Arts" on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 7:30 to 10:30 AM at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

This event will feature speaker Megan Eves, Assistant Director for Programs and Communications with the Museum Association of New York State. Eves will provide insights into how the arts industry influences the economic vitality of communities across the state.

Attendees include Mayor Kraham of Binghamton, members of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the Broome County Arts Council. The event aims to engage business partners, municipal leaders, and community members in discussions about the local arts community and its contribution to the region’s social and economic vibrancy.

A panel discussion will include:

- Naima Kradijan, Goodwill Theatre

- John Rozzoni, Tri-Cities Opera

- Paul Cienniwa, Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra

- Michael Grasso, Roberson Museum

- Orazio Salati Studio and Gallery

Registration is available at greaterbinghamtonchamber.com. Pricing is set at $30 for members and $35 for non-members. This event is part of the ongoing initiatives by the City of Binghamton to support the local arts community, including the establishment of the Downtown Arts District anchored by the Broome County Arts Council.
