**Boil Water Notice Extended for Barrier Island Customers in Sarasota**

As of October 16 at 10 a.m., the City of Sarasota has announced that the boil water notice for customers living on Bird Key, St. Armands Key, Lido Key, and Siesta Key has been extended through Friday. This extension is a result of multiple water main breaks in the area.

Residents are reminded that water service has been restored to the barrier islands. If any residents on the barrier islands are still experiencing a lack of water service, they are encouraged to contact the Utilities Department at 941-263-6884 for assistance.
