Staff Report / FLXlocal.org

NASA has launched the Europa Clipper mission to study Jupiter's moon, Europa, which is thought to have an outer ice shell, an ocean, cryovolcanoes, and misty plumes. The mission aims to investigate the potential for life on this ocean world. Scientists from Cornell University’s Engineering and College of Arts and Sciences will contribute to reporting the findings related to Europa's habitability. The mission focuses on aspects such as gravitational tides and radiation on Europa, which may provide insights into its ability to support life.
