Kindergarteners Embrace MLK Legacy, Equality Message

West Street School kindergarteners participated in a lesson focused on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The lesson, held at Geneva City Schools in Geneva, NY, emphasized diversity and inclusion. Students learned that while people may look different on the outside, they are alike on the inside. The activity connected these ideas to Dr. King’s message of equality and concluded with students sharing their personal hopes and dreams for a kinder, more inclusive world.
