Section IV Championship Weekend kicks off with Lake Hawks, WGOM Storm
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. — The Watkins Glen Central School District reports a weekend of Section IV championships. Tickets, livestream links and game times are listed on the district’s main page.
Kicking off tonight, the Lake Hawks Varsity Cheer Squad will compete at the Section IV IAC Class C & D Competitive Cheer Championship in Newark Valley at 6 p.m.
Championship Saturday is packed. WGOM Storm Wrestlers will compete at the Section IV State Qualifiers at the VFC Arena in Binghamton, with wrestling beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Storm Varsity Men’s Swim Team will host the Section IV Championship at home, with Class C Finals at 11 a.m. and Class A Finals at 3:30 p.m.
Varsity Bowling will roll into the IAC Championships at Valley Bowling Alley in Waverly, with action starting at 1 p.m.

Broome County Library Plans Lighter Programming This Week
