YMCA Camp Cory in Penn Yan has announced its Summer 2026 Village Heads as part of its staff highlights for the season. Five Village Heads were named:

Carolina Couto — Keuka Village Head

  • From: Syracuse, N.Y.
  • Education: attends Boston College
  • On staff: seventh summer and third year
  • Hobbies: crafts, dance, time outside
  • Fun fact: can talk to the fairies that live in Keuka Lodge

Kara Maroldo — Craig Village Head

  • From: Rochester, N.Y.
  • Education: studies mechanical engineering at Binghamton University
  • On staff: tenth summer and fourth year
  • Hobbies: exploring the outdoors, listening to music, spending time with cats
  • Fun fact: can speak bear

Eliana Lucci — Wells Village Head

  • From: Rochester, N.Y.
  • Education: studying Early Childhood Education at SUNY New Paltz
  • On staff: tenth year at camp and fifth year on staff
  • Hobbies: hanging out with friends, reading, finding new music

Summer Moorhouse — Walmsley Village Head

  • From: north of England
  • On staff: third year
  • Occupation back home: works with SEN children in a school
  • Fun fact: practicing British Sign Language (BSL) and enjoys it

Ruby Odell — Maijgren Village Head

  • From: Denver, Colo.
  • Education: studying business at the University of Colorado
  • On staff: sixth summer and third year on staff
  • Hobbies: hiking, skiing, spending time with friends, traveling
  • Background: Ruby was a Maijgren camper
  • Notes: "Sko Buffs!"

Broome County Library Plans Lighter Programming This Week
