Ithaca to Plant Three Arbor Day Trees Friday
The City of Ithaca invites the public to Arbor Day tree planting, sponsored by the Ithaca Garden Club.
The event is scheduled for Friday, April 24, at 1 p.m. and will take place rain or shine.
Three trees will be planted along the Waterfront Trail at Cass Park, among blooming daffodils. A map shows the meeting location with a red dot. Parking is available across the street in a lot adjacent to the baseball fields.
The event is open to the public and is expected to last about 30 minutes. The mayor will read the Arbor Day proclamation and the trees will be planted.
We hope to see you there.
