Onondaga Sheriff’s Office Accepts Lateral Transfers Now

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office is now accepting Lateral Transfers from any police agency in New York State. This initiative aims to recruit experienced officers to uphold the legacy of service that the Sheriff's Office has maintained for over 230 years.
To be eligible for the transfer, candidates must be certified police officers in New York State. The Sheriff's Office emphasizes that this opportunity not only represents a law enforcement career but also a commitment to safety, integrity, and community.
