Starting Monday, July 21, the New York State Department of Transportation will begin repairs on the Main Street Bridge over Routes 5 and 20 in Geneva, NY. Crews will work on repairing concrete slabs and sidewalks over the next several weeks, weather permitting.

The project will affect traffic between Park Avenue and St. Clair Street with lane closures, reduced parking, and delays expected. Temporary signals will be installed to manage single-lane traffic during repairs. Northbound traffic will be detoured using the posted North 14 Truck / East 5&20 route via the eastbound cloverleaf ramp, while southbound traffic will continue to cross the bridge.

To maintain work schedules, repairs will be conducted on one lane at a time with lane shifts as required. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the construction period.
