Binghamton Free Online Business Workshops Launch March 24

A series of free online workshops will be offered for city businesses and participants of the 2025 Binghamton Business Plan Competition. The workshops will take place Monday through Wednesday, March 24-26 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Topics on the agenda include Business Financing, Marketing Plan & Strategies, Entrepreneurship Mindset, Legal Structure & Organization, and Pitching Your Business.

The events are presented by M&T Bank in partnership with the Binghamton Local Development Corporation. Several experts will lead the sessions, including Merlin Joseph, VP Branch Manager at Key Bank; Cheryl Fabrizi from the SUNY Broome Entrepreneurial Assistance Program; Ewelina Zajac-Holdrege, Owner of Idea Kraft; and Christopher Mellveen, Esq. of Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP. Business owners such as Jacob Kumpon of KLAW Industries, Laura Whitmore of Strategic Test Prep, and Ryan Crist of Civic Alert Systems will also participate.
