Child Abduction Suspect Arrested In Jacksonville

Jacksonville, FL – Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officers arrested Timmothy Hall, 55, on a warrant for attempted child abduction and indecent exposure in connection with a July 11 incident in Daytona Beach.

According to reports, Hall exposed himself and attempted to kidnap a child at a Daytona Beach store. The child reported that Hall flashed them and grabbed their arm before running away. The child was unharmed.

Detectives learned that Hall may be hiding in Jacksonville and requested assistance from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. On Saturday evening, officers located him in his vehicle in the Arlington neighborhood. The Aviation Unit and K-9 team were used during the felony takedown.

This arrest is not Hall’s first offense. In 2010, Hillsborough County authorities arrested him on charges of lewd or lascivious exhibition involving a victim under 16. Following that arrest, Hall resigned from his position as a medical assistant at the Duval County jail and was required to register as a sex offender.
