The ongoing or expected thunderstorms may cause flash flooding in small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, poor drainage areas, and low-lying areas.

Communities likely to experience flash flooding include Scranton, Carbondale, Tunkhannock, Montrose, Waverly, Archbald, Dickson City, Moosic, Clarks Summit, Rush, Mayfield, Springville, Clarks Green, Dalton, Factoryville, Nicholson, La Plume, Meshoppen, Hop Bottom, and Little Meadows.

Residents are advised to avoid flooded roads and not drive through standing water.
